Hi,
I am diagnosed with hypertension from past two months. I am under medication. I feel like i am very anxious. I lost my father(operation complexity) and sister (pregnancy complication) in a span of twelve months three years back. I fear like this is going to be my time. I fear whatever happened when my sister was ill is happening again when i am ill. I dont know if i am just connecting stupid dots. But i feel this is affecting me a lot and affecting my daily life. How to come out of this. I think this anxiety is keeping my bp so high.
Thanks

Hi, I know it is tough to lose a father and sister unexpectedly within a short period of time. It seems like you feel anxious about your health after what has happened to your sister. You have been having hypertension since two months and you are on medication. Studies have shown that people with anxiety are prone to have hypertension. If you feel anxiety is causing hypertension you can consult a doctor. You can also consult a psychologist to help manage anxiety.
first of all try to improve your will power ,if you have strong will power you will not get disturbed by unnecessary thoughts ,keep yourself busy with different activities ir hobbies of your choice do physical workouts you will be able to get through all these problems
