You didn't mention for how many years she has been having her periods and whether it is a new feature or every month she has similar symptoms.
Hot water bag, green tea and painkillers are advised.
If she's started menstruating 2-3 years back then this is normal but if she was having no pain during menses earlier and now she has developed pain, get a USG done to rule out any pathology.
