Hi Doctor my mother in law, age 56 had a menopause since 8 years. Since yesterday onwards she is feeling lower back pain, stomach ache and bleeding. And yesterday she had bajra roti, pappaya. Is this because of that? Could you suggest any tablets please?

A woman having bleeding eight years after sustaining menopause will be treated as postmenopausal bleeding. Please consult with a Gynaecologist in your area for a detailed examination. It should not be ignored.

She can have trenaxa mf 1tab twice a day but take care it is not a good sign to have bleeding at this stage get one usg for whole abdomen

No it is not normal. Any kind of bleeding after menopause require management. Get an endometrial biospy done alongwith ultrasound

If after 8yrs of menopause she has suddenly started bleeding then she needs to visit a gynecologist in person for checkup...till the medicine can be prescribed to control bleeding... kindly connect for prescription
