MENISCUS TEAR
Bucket handle tear of medial meniscus  has been diagnosed in MRI. Atached is MRI films. Can I know the severity of this tear ? Can it be cured without surgery ?

At your age meniscus tear should be repaired to preserve knee function. It is generally a keyhole surgery.

As per MRI it is more likely to treat by operation but have to know more about symptoms like locking of knee

Go for meniscus repair (if your surgeon says it’s repairable) At your age preservation is important or else you will land up in early arthritis
