Memory loss
I am observing a severe memory loss of my past and cant even concentrate on things. Like simple calculations. I had a recent incident and few years back my brother died. Am i having any PTSD? Is this a problem for my future?

Don't  panic on base of assumptions about something like PTSD , specially  when we haven't yet diagnosed it. Memory loss is an umbrella term , it can have various patterns and  different reasons . Don't worry , psychotherapies and medical world have progressed very well with effective  results . We will need to understand  what type of memory loss is this , and then we can treat it. Hi, I understand it can be tough to lose a sibling. It seems like you are feeling stressed and upset and you are not able to concentrate. To get help you can consult a psychiatrist and consider counseling. You can consult a psychiatrist first and then a psychologist. Do not worry what you are going through may not affect your future. Hey Glad u could connect. It is important that u have spoken abt that tragedy with someone .. all your associates thoughts and feelings need to be surfaced. Hi... Sometimes I our mind chooses to forget painful past experiences in order to maintain our daily functioning. It's like a maladaptive defensive mechanism. Those things are not getting resolved instead they are getting buried in your subconscious mind. You need to start your therapy again and address those issues (PTSD after brother's death).
