Post acne scars may be superficial or deep. It may leave pitted scars or dark pigmentation. Pigmented scars may disappear slowly, but sometimes certain whitening creams or chemical peeling may be needed. If it is deep pitted scars, then you have to undergo procedures like microdermabrasion, dermal fillers or laser resurfacing. Consult a dermatologist, who will assess and decide the correct mode of treatment after clinical examination.

Acne or pimples will leave marks if you tamper with it and try and scratch it. Only once the acne settles will it be more appropriate to start with treatment for marks. Send ur pics for better understanding of the acne and marks
