My grandmother is 84 years old she is mentally unstable. Will I get a medical certificate that she is mentally fit to do any legal documentation ? Are there any test needed to prove the mental fitness?

You have to approach a psychiatrist in person for certification to be valid in court of law better go to a govt medical college hospital, Psychiatry department, get the necessary tests done and get certified. You need to submit a proper request for why you need it, whether you can apply for it etc. All these as per Mental health care act 2017
