Mediastinal lymph node tb
5month of tb treatment done. Cough reduced much no fever like previous, gained 7kg. No other problems,but still occasionally cough in a day like 20 to 30 times it's a single dight cough.genexprt was positive, EBUS FNAC was caseating epithelioid granuloma cells done in Apollo hospital.bit worried when this cough will gone properly? Is there any other possibilities? Do i need to take 12 months of medicine

Since genexpert was positive and it’s lymph node tb, better to take prolonged ATT, 9 to 12 months after consulting a pulmonologist

Continue TB medicine for 6 months Cough might be seasonal or allergic U can try anti allergics U shall consult a pulmonologist Regards dr ankit sharma Chest specialist

Continue your anti TB medication for 6 months as advised. And go to follow up regularly to a Pulmonologist. Nothing to worry as of such. Cough might also be due to gastritis caused due to medication.

Pl take minimum 6 months Att.cough will slowly comes down, with reducing of mediastinal lymph nodes.pl consult pulmonologist with detailed history, reports and treatment taken.
