My father in law is suffering from Mdr tb and his age is 74. Also we are 5 members in family. I have a 2month old baby. Now financially we are not so strong for costly treatment. Currently government treatment is going on. Second line drugs are given to him. Also doc has informed that they cannot give injection because his eardrum is damaged .
So required your suggestions on below question:-
1) Is Mdr tb curable and duration of course
2) How to prevent mdr tb from spreading at home
3) How to take care Mdr tb pateint at home
4) As it is contagious disease so if one gets affected from him then it will Mdr tb only or it could normal tb
5) Also pls let me know place at low cost where he can stay with proper treatment and can get recover

hello , you must take precautions .1)MDR TB need ayurvedic treatment along with current medication that will gives him faster results . 2) you can fumigate home with different herbs like guggulu nim etc 3) it's only contagious in early stages if he started treatment then its no longer contagious as per study . 4) government hospital will handle this patient contact nearby centre
