Recurrence of lump after MDR treatment
Hello Sir/Madam, My younger brother (21 year old) completed 2 years course of MDR almost a year ago and all his lumps which were on his neck had gone, only scars were there. Last week we noticed swelling on his neck and on consulting the doctor, he has adviced to do Biopsy which we are doing. I'm concern if it would again turn out to be TB and he will have start taking medicine again because he is already too week and had just started recovering from side effects of previous 2 years course. What are the chances of reoccurrence and what could be the best treatment if the reports are against our wish? Please advice.
