Let the fracture unite radiologically.
X ray must be done just before the surgery is undertaken to remove the nail.

U may require dynamisation for quick healing
Implants are generally removed after 1 and half years post healing

As per xray it is still in process of union ...
Bone union depends on many factors apart from diet...it differs in different individuals
