The sensation of an urge to urinate during masturbation, especially as orgasm approaches, can occur for several reasons. During sexual arousal and orgasm, the muscles of the pelvic floor, bladder neck, prostate region, and urinary tract undergo coordinated contractions. Some men may perceive these sensations as a need to urinate, particularly when arousal is high.
However, the fact that you have also experienced occasional mild burning sensations suggests that there may be some irritation of the urinary tract, pelvic floor tension, dehydration, prolonged holding of urine, excessive masturbation, or other genitourinary factors contributing to your symptoms. The symptom is not typically considered normal if it is persistent, worsening, or associated with pain, significant burning, urinary frequency, or discomfort outside of masturbation.
Next Steps
Try to empty your bladder before masturbation and ensure adequate hydration throughout the day. Avoid prolonged or forceful masturbation sessions and allow sufficient recovery time if you have been masturbating very frequently. Observe whether the urge to urinate occurs only during masturbation or if it is also present during normal daily activities. Pay attention to any additional symptoms such as burning during urination, increased urinary frequency, pelvic discomfort, lower abdominal pain, or changes in urinary flow. If the symptoms continue to recur or become more bothersome, a detailed clinical assessment would be advisable to identify the underlying cause. Health Tips
Maintain adequate hydration, avoid delaying urination for long periods, and ensure proper sleep and stress management. Regular physical activity and pelvic floor relaxation exercises may also be beneficial. Avoid excessive focus on genital sensations during masturbation, as heightened awareness and anxiety can sometimes amplify normal bodily sensations. In many cases, mild and occasional symptoms improve with simple lifestyle adjustments and healthy sexual habits. Thank you

A mild urge to urinate during arousal/orgasm can be normal. However, burning sensation may suggest urinary irritation or infection. Stay hydrated and consider a urine test if symptoms persist, worsen, or are associated with frequency or pain.
