Hullo. Masturbation is not harmful for the body but it does more damage by causing marital discord. Masturbation results in penile fatigue causing erectile dysfunction and inability to have satisfactory intercourse.

Its a normal activity.  It can become a problem only when it interferes with your normal life and sexual life. Till then, every frequency is okay. 2-3 times a week is not excessive. There should not be any issue.
