Masturbation Addiction
Hello doctor, Doctor I don't know if this is relevant or not but I need a consultation on this. Doctor I feel like I am addicted to masturbate atleast 3-4 times a day. No doubt I feel very good. But thinking about medical issues might occur in future I get worried. I try so much to divert my mind in other activities so that I can stop masturbating frequently. Please doctor help me on this. What should I do so that I can get out of this addiction? Sometimes I get very worried as is this going to affect my life after marriage? Please help...

Hey I am glad u reached out. I hear u. I understand ur struggling here to abstain and control urself from engaging in masturbating as frequently as u we currently but are not succeeding and that’s frustrating for u. Pls take a deep breath and relax. There are a few things that u need to know. One it’s ok to engage in this as long as ur life is not revolving around it. U might be doing it several times in a day and still able to achieve ur daily goals for a healthy and productive lifestyle. Secondly after marriage or having a active sexual life your sexual relationship with yourself and the way you meet those needs will change to a great extent and things will take course automatically. Don’t worry urself sick about this now. Maybe things won’t be as hard as u think they might be. How about dealing with what’s happening now in front of you instead of what might or might not happen.
