Psychological counselling will definitely be helpful in addressing the underlying issues behind your habit. This might be giving you a temporary relief right now, but could be harmful in long term as your mind is getting conditioned to masturbate before sleeping. A counselling psychologist or therapist can help you in changing the habit and help you to deal with this issue at core.

Counseling can help you address the underlying causes of your sleep problems and habits. A trained therapist can work with you to identify any psychological factors contributing to your difficulties and help you develop strategies to improve your sleep and manage your habits. Benefits of Counseling: Identifying Triggers: A counselor can help you identify what triggers your sleep problems and excessive masturbation, which could be stress, anxiety, or other emotional factors. Developing Coping Strategies: Counseling can provide you with tools to cope with stress and anxiety in healthier ways, which can contribute to better sleep and reduced reliance on habits for comfort. Behavioral Changes: A counselor can work with you to develop healthy sleep habits and gradually reduce or manage the excessive habit.
