In your case both jaw and teeth are malposition.teeth malposition correction can be put on a halt . But first and foremost treatment should be correction of jaw malpositioning.visit a oral surgeon first followed by a visit to orthodontist

If only the teeth are malpositioned can be corrected by braces. Jaw malpostioning will require surgery.
