Asked for Female, 23 Years

My age is 23..I suffered from tb 2 yrs ago..Now I suffered from little cough and breathing problem so my doc adviced to do CT scan of chest.My report shows that Fibrosis with nodular lessions at apical segment of right upper love with a small area of consolidation..Wat does it mean?? Pls tell me doctors..

Fibrosis is the medical term for scarring and it implies healed tuberculosis in general. Nodular lesions and consolidation may be in active tuberculosis, which needs to be confirmed by testing your phlegm in a lab or if that is not contributory, you may require a bronchoscopy. In addition to this we need to look at your symptoms/problems right now and your general condition. Agree this a call may be taken whether you have got tb again or your breathlessness is because of some other reason...
