Lung cavitation
History: In August 2018, diagnosed with Pulmonary TB and had a right upper lobe cavity. Recovered from TB after a year. In Dec 2020 when CT scan was done, doctors said there were three cavities and right lung is severely damaged and TB tests were negative. So, what is the reason for increase in number of cavities and damage to lungs? He had recurrent cough since August 2020.

Hi noted above history As you mentioned above symptoms post TB and 78 Age is secondary cavity infection other than TB Needs evaluation and symptoms analysis
