Does and don't with pulmonary TB
Background: I am a 28 yr old Female diagnosed with Mild pulmonary TB in July. AFB was positive and CB NAAT was negative -MTB not detected. So my doc concluded it as NTM kind. I am on Anti-TB medication from DOTTS since July and it's been 2 months now. Symptoms have disappeared to quite a extent, a little tiredness persist now and then.
Culture test result until 11-08-2023 - No growth after 4 weeks of incubation .
Question: Can I involve in physical intimacy with my partner? Would there be a concerns of contamination when kissing?
My Treating doctor has confirmed that I had Mild TB and now am not contagious anymore. I wanted to gain assurance from wider forum if TB can still spread to another person via Saliva?

After 2 month of treatment you will be non contagious
But once repeat sputum afb, and if it's negative.you are non contagious

Now you are not contagious. If sputum positive certain bacilli may spread via smooch but chances of infection is negligible. Take online consultation for further information.

Pl do sputum for Afb and cbnatt. If they are negative, you can have normal life.pl continue the full course of Att.
