Lump in left breast
Hi, Recently my mother found small lump in her left breast at 10'o clock. She visited physician & doctor has suggested for USG of both breast. She underwent USG of both breast & the result is internal cyst area 0.3 × 0.2cm Impression :- Focal area of slightly altered echo texture in the left breast with cyst within - Likely inflammatory changes. Showed the result to doctor he has further suggested for FNAC now. Is FNAC required? Kindly suggest as my mom says it's getting smaller every day.

Please tell the doctor who has advised FNAC that the lump is getting smaller. The doctor may like to examine and confirm that it is actually getting smaller. Then he can give appropriate advice.
