Suffering from lower back pain while doing certain activities. I'm assuming this started because of bad posture/ sitting position and muscle cramp. Any exercise to reduce this?

You should give hot water fomentation for your back twice a day for 15-20 minutes. You can use Volini gel or spray provided you are not allergic. You should do back stretching and strengthening exercises with proper guidance. Avoid prolonged sitting or standing, take breaks in between work. You should do posture correction exercises.
Next Steps
If the pain persists or aggrevates you need to consult a Physiotherapist or Orthopaedist in person or through video call for further evaluation and treatment.

Before doing any exercises, improve your posture and relax the cramps. Then improve flexibility with stretching exercises and then do strengthening exercises.

The number of exercises for posture is very high. But we need to know if your pain is on sitting or straightening up. Then we give you exercises to improve that...we also give exercises on the basis of structures involved. So for general non specific exercises, you could do some of the basic ones. Otherwise you need an assessment.

Hey best exercise for your lower back would be bridging, back extensions, cat camel exercise, hamstring stretch, gluteal stretch , side plank and clamp shells. If you search for these on YouTube you will understand them better. Before doing these exercises apply a hot pack or hot water bag for 10mins so that it induces relaxation. Take care of your posture while sitting. You can use a towel roll when you sit, place it near your lower back. Hope this helps
