Talk to experienced doctor online and get your health questions answered in just 5 minutes.
Please get a X-ray first. After that please consult a Physiotherapist.
Health Tips
Don't just get up straight in the morning. First move to your one side (side-lying position) than stand.
And please do the stretches to maintain normal flexibility.
If you haven't still got it checked, first ensure that your daily physical activity is well regulated for one week.
Continue basic mobility while balancing with rest and enough sleep. 10-15 minutes of moderate temperature hot water bag before sleep may help during this period.
If this doesn't show some improvement in one week, consult a specialist.
Maybe mechanical low back pain or early lumbar spondylosis but after x-ray it will confirm.
Next Steps
To change your sleeping posture.
Side line posture with pillow support in between legs.
For best treatment and diagnosis please visit a nearby physio clinic or online consultation.
Health Tips
Moist heat compression.
LS Belt except sleeping and eating time.
electrotherapy and exercise therapy is the best treatment..
I want to know if you have tried any treatment for your pain i.e. Any medication or other treatment.
If not, then you can try taking hot pack for 15 mins 2-3 times a day.
If you have taken any treatment, then i need to know about it also.
Next Steps
See if your pain gets a bit better with hot pack. Otherwise consult with an orthopedician or physiotherapist near you.
Health Tips
After walking up try to move your legs up and down and then only get up from your bed.
Since your back pain has been there for more than six months,I would recommend you to take a MRI LS spine to rule out the cause of your pain.
You should consult a physiotherapist or orthopaedist for complete assessment and treatment.
Change the position of the mattress, apply diclofenac ointment and do hot water fermentation twice a day for 15mins.
Its good that the pain is not radiating but as per your age, height and weight you need to reduce little weight to avoid pressure on lower back, knee and ankle joints which in future may causes pains.
Do light stretching exercises before apply hot pack, if you wont find any improvement in 2 days then visit nearby physiotherapy clinic and take Ultrasound therapy for 3 - 4 days.
For pain relief use Electrotherapy modalities like Ultrasound and IFT for few sessions
After pain relief start lower back Strengthening Exercises
Core strengthening exercises
Lumbar spinal extension Strengthening Exercises
will help
Next Steps
Visit nearest Physiotherapy clinic for complete assessment and treatment
Health Tips
Follow Better weight lose program
Use flat/ hard bed for sleeping
Place a pillow under the knees while sleeping on the back
Place a pillow between the legs while sleeping on side ways
Support your back while sitting for a longer period of time
Visit nearby physiotherapy clinic for proper assessment and treatment
Pls take electrical modalities treatment to reduce pain and inflammation.
Do hot water application twice aday, followed by back Strengthening exercises
