I have total vitamin d- 8.6 . I am taking 1000iu vitamin d3 tablets. Is it sufficient or not? If not please how many iu vitamin d3 required?

Hi. The dose u r taking may be sufficient as a maintenance dose but full therapeutic dose s high. Please take 60 k iu weekly x 8 weeks

No... Better to start with 60k unit once in week.. for 8 weeks... Consultant orthopaedic surgeon clinically
