Low spermcount
My friend have low sperm count. How to treat this condition. He has consulted doctor and doctor has suggested him oligocare tablets and maxozol-L powder, that doesn't worked for him even after long term use. Doctor has suggested IUI, but he don't want it that way. Is there any other medications to improve the sperm count. He is getting into depression because of this. Please help. Thanks

There are other medications but that cannot be prescribed online. He needs to meet an urologist and get a complete check up

If medications and lifestyle modifications ( stop smoking/drinking) has not improved the sperm count then it is highly likely that for conception the couple may need to resort to assisted reproductive techniques like IUI/ ICSI. If the sperm count/motility is not very low then IUI usually helps. With a very low count/motility, IVF/ ICSi may be more helpful. It is important to know that treatment should be undertaken at the right time because low sperm counts are known to deteriorate over a period of time and then neither IUI or ICSI will be helpful.
