I want to tell you one thing ; when we plan for any Surgery for any patient , our target is to have platelet count more than one lac. Your mother has much more. So she is safe.
The Lab references are based on study of the whole population . So the average may be 1.5 lacs.
But we start treatment when we have apprehension that she may have excessive bleeding. Your mother is not in that category.
