No need to get admitted and also platelet transfusion is indicated only when platelet count below 10k in non bleeder and below 20k in a bleeder . Just have lots of fluid like GLUCOSE ORS COCONUT WATER ETC

No need of admission. You can stay at home and have plenty of oral fluids .Generally the platelet count reduces on 3rd to4th day . You need to get admitted when your platelet level falls below 40000 cells per mm3 of blood . Whenver you get fever you can take Paracetamol 650mg with 6 hrs apart . Water is must ,you can mix 1 ORS sachet in 1Litre of water and have it . Min 3-4L water you should take . You have to do CBC test tomorrow and day after tomorrow to track the platelet count .Once there is increase in trend of platelets, then you no need to worry .For further queries you can consult me on this app .
