I have been suffering with depression with anxiety (Diagnosed so). Initially presented with anxiety, depression and with peculiar symptoms of electricity like sensation in brain with frequent spikes like jolts of current surges and buzzing sensation in brain since 22 years.
I have been on anti depressants high dose and benzodiazepine with partial relief especially that electricity like sensation and buzzing. Am 51 years now.
Can I have any hope with homeopathy.

You must consult a homoeopathic specialist regarding this
As per my knowledge, depression and anxiety symptoms are being improved through allopathic medication as you mentioned along with lifestyle modifications
The first step is always to ensure a proper evaluation by both psychiatry and neurology to rule out medical contributors such as seizures, migraines, vitamin deficiencies, or medication side effects.
For treatment, modern psychiatry offers several evidence-based options beyond routine antidepressants and benzodiazepines:
Non-drug therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and relaxation training.
Neuromodulation treatments like repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS) or, in severe cases, Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT).
Newer biological treatments such as ketamine or esketamine therapy for resistant depression.
Health Tips
Help is available, and recovery is possible. Chronic symptoms should not discourage patients.
With the right combination of medical care, psychological therapies, lifestyle changes, and — when appropriate — complementary treatments, people can regain good quality of life.
I understand how distressing and exhausting it must feel to be dealing with these symptoms for such a long time. You’ve already shown a lot of resilience by continuing treatment and seeking help.
Currently, the best evidence-based treatments for depression and anxiety remain psychiatric medications, structured psychotherapies, and lifestyle interventions. In some cases where symptoms persist despite standard care, doctors may also explore advanced options like neuromodulation in select situations.
Homeopathy, however, does not have robust scientific evidence supporting its effectiveness for chronic depression, anxiety, or neurological symptoms like the ones you describe. While some individuals report subjective relief, this is usually considered to be due to placebo effects, supportive listening, or parallel natural recovery rather than the remedies themselves.
That said, if you wish to try homeopathy, it is important to do so only alongside (not in place of) your current medical care, and under supervision of a qualified practitioner. Stopping prescribed antidepressants or benzodiazepines abruptly can be risky.
Next Steps
• Second psychiatric opinion: Sometimes a re-evaluation of diagnosis and medications (for example, whether these “electric jolts” could represent neurological phenomena like seizures, migraine aura, or medication-related effects) is very useful.
• Psychotherapy: Structured therapies can help reduce residual anxiety and depression when medications alone don’t fully work.
• Medical work-up: Since you describe long-standing electricity-like sensations, a neurological assessment (EEG, MRI, etc.) may help rule out seizure disorders or other conditions.
• Lifestyle & mind-body interventions: Sleep hygiene, exercise, yoga, and meditation have proven benefits for depression and anxiety.
Health Tips
You do have hope — but the strongest path forward is likely through a comprehensive medical and psychological approach, rather than relying solely on homeopathy.
