Lock jaw problem
My mouth doesn't open wide since 12 years. Due to which i face problem in eating and brushing my teeth due to which my most of the tooth got affected by cavities. Plz doctor prescribe me some solution of this problem and tell me the reason behind this problem.

Jaw not opening wide is a vague term. Technically if it’s less than 40 mm it’s not wide enough. So we don’t know the exact extent of your mouth opening. The reasons can be many like trauma, ear infection or a disc disorder to name a few. The condition requires proper examination and investigations as prescribed by your examining clinician. Visit an oral and maxillofacial surgeon to know more.
