Liver enzyme and pregnancy related
Please doctors I need your candid advice as this is causing issues in my family, before I got pregnant through ivf I was already treating lymph nodes tuberculosis with medication isoniazid ethambutol which elevated my liver enzyme but was being controlled by a pulmonologist doctor then I was planning for ivf so he said go ahead he already gave small dose it won't be problem for ivf, so I got pregnant twins delivered 34 weeks my liver enzyme was topping high so for us to be safe the babies had to be delivered since then my liver enzyme has been high low so a gastro doctor gave me some medication udiliv 300mg but it was stil getting high now am on envion 400mg for 3 months, so he said I have a very sensitive liver I should mind what drugs I take I don't smoke or drink I only take zero sugar coke though am not diabetic now my husband wants second ivf but I said No cause ivf involves lots of medication injection and I don't want to take much medication for my liver please advice me

Apart from being a Medical problem it is also a Family issue. You had twins by IVF.  What is the age of those children and how are they growing? You have to decide whether you really want three children . If yes, the time is NOW because your age is also advancing. Whatever problem you have in the liver, one thing is clear that it will only get worse with the advancing age. So the next pregnancy should be now or never. (I presume that your kids must be three years old and growing normally).

So u already hv two kids to take care of Ur husband can be counselled about ur intentions of not planning another pregnancy taking into consideration ur liver condition
