Discuss lowering rosuvastatin to 5 mg instead of discontinuing, maintaining cholesterol levels while minimizing side effects. Follow a heart-healthy diet (DASH) rich in fiber, healthy fats, and low in saturated fats. Engage in regular exercise (150 minutes/week) and stress management techniques like yoga. Your lipid profile appears to be well-controlled, with total cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL, and other parameters within acceptable ranges for most individuals Since your doctor has advised discontinuing the statin, it likely reflects confidence in your current lipid levels and overall risk profile. However, if you are concerned about stopping it completely, you may discuss reducing the dose instead of discontinuing it entirely.
Next Steps
Telmisartan (20 mg) & Corbis (5mg) : Continue this medication to manage blood pressure and protect your heart and kidneys Consult if you have any other symptoms .
Health Tips
Continue a heart-healthy diet rich in vegetables, fruits, whole grains, and lean protein. Avoid saturated fats, trans fats, and excessive sugar. Regular Exercise: At least 30 minutes of moderate exercise, 5 times a week.
