Lipase 314u/l
His Amylase is 72 however lipase is 314. He feels a heaviness on right side of abdomen. It swells like there is a ball stuck there and very hard. It pains and very uncomfortable.

Could be pancreatitis or gall bladder pathology ..USG Whole abdomen+KUB needs to be done

Pt has normal amylase levels and increased serum lipase .... although the levels of serum lipase should be 3 times higher than normal limits for diagnosis of pancreatitis

will needs USG abdomen and pelvis nil per oral iv fluids and analgesics
