No, The RC treated tooth doesn't fall immediately after the treatment. But the tooth becomes brittle after the procedure and this the reason, we emphasize on putting a crown/cap over the tooth to provide the strength.  And due to stress the tooth starts to fall in the absence of crown.
Next Steps
Hence it is advisable to give crown to the tooth within one month of treatment to relieve it from chewing stress. And this can save the tooth in longer run.
Health Tips
RC plus Crown... Please consider this one full treatment for the long run safety of the natural tooth.

Once u are done with rct and crown placement the tooth is saved for many years .... it also depends on ur lifestyle and how you maintain your teeth and oral hygiene .... no the tooth don’t fall out after rct but the tooth becomes weak after root canal so crown placement in must after rct otherwise tooth will break ...

They are permanent solution only when completed with a crown. The tooth portion which you see will become weak after RCT, and so should be protected by the crown( cap). The strength of root portion will be strong and in long run depends on your maintenance of the gums. Brush and floss regularly. Visit dentist every six months and if needed do a professional cleaning.
Health Tips
You can go for x rays every 2 years to check the bone support. Hope this helps you.

No, the tooth doesn’t fall out after rct. Rct has very good and predictable prognosis. It has nothing to do with loosening of teeth. Regarding how long it will last no doctor can give a number here as it is not mentioned in literature. If cap is placed after rct it has a very long life. Mine was done 18 years ago and is still doing good, no problems till date.
