Treatment for lice is different and for hair care is different. Scalp health shall be maintained. Try to wash her hair every alternate day is they are lengthy. If short wash them daily.

Yes, Ayurveda has safe options for lice and nits in children. For a 9-year-old: Neem oil + Coconut oil (1:2 ratio) – apply on scalp and hair, leave for 1–2 hours, then wash with mild herbal shampoo. Fenugreek (methi) seed paste – soak overnight, grind, apply for 30 min before washing. Herbal shampoo – Shikakai-based or mild neem–aloevera shampoo. Comb with a fine lice comb daily after oiling to remove nits. Repeat 2–3 times a week for 2–3 weeks for full removal. For exact safe product recommendations, consult me directly.
