Since medicated shampoos haven't worked, try these Ayurvedic remedies: Neem Oil or Coconut Oil + Camphor – Apply overnight and comb out lice in the morning. Bhringraj Oil – Regular use helps eliminate lice and strengthens hair. Shikakai & Reetha Powder – Mix with water and use as a natural shampoo. Fine-toothed Lice Comb – Use daily after applying oil. How Long Does It Take? With consistent treatment, lice clear in 2-4 weeks. Wash all bedding, combs, and clothing in hot water to prevent reinfestation. If lice persist beyond 1 month, consult a specialist for alternative treatment.

There is no direct connection between lice and immunity. For lice apply Licel oil at night time and do hair wash next day morning. Repeat the same after 15 days.. To avoid repeated attacks cold cough and fever give Amritarista 10 ml twice daily with 10 ml of normal water and Sithopaladi churna 1/4 teaspoon twice daily with honey for one month

I understand your concerns about your daughter's head lice and her recent health patterns. Let's address each of your questions in simple terms: 1. Treatment Duration and Effectiveness: Head lice can be stubborn and sometimes don't go away with just one treatment. Over-the-counter shampoos are commonly used, but some lice have developed resistance to these treatments. It's important to follow the instructions carefully and repeat the treatment as directed, usually about a week later, to ensure all lice and their eggs (nits) are eliminated. Additionally, using a fine-toothed comb to manually remove lice and nits can be very effective. Vox +1 The Sun +1 2. Serious Effects of Head Lice: Head lice are more of a nuisance than a serious health problem. They don't spread diseases and typically cause itching due to an allergic reaction to their bites. Since your daughter isn't experiencing much itching, there's less risk of skin irritation or infection from scratching. Vox 3. Do Head Lice Build Immunity? There's no scientific evidence to suggest that having head lice boosts the immune system or prevents other illnesses. The absence of colds or fevers in your daughter over the past five months is likely coincidental and not related to the lice infestation. Wishing your daughter a swift resolution to this issue. Recommendations: Consult a Healthcare Professional: If over-the-counter treatments aren't working, consider consulting your pediatrician or a dermatologist. They can recommend prescription treatments or alternative methods to eliminate the lice. Environmental Measures: While lice primarily spread through direct head-to-head contact, it's a good idea to wash bedding, hats, and hair accessories in hot water to prevent reinfestation. Regular Monitoring: Continue to check your daughter's hair regularly for signs of lice and nits, even after treatment, to catch any potential reinfestations early. Dealing with head lice can be frustrating, but with persistent and proper treatment, they can be effectively managed.

Hello, If your child is going school with tied up her wet hair avoid that first. Either don't do head bath morning or properly dry and tie it. Neem & Tusli juice you can apply over her head before 20 mins before washing her hair.
