I was diagnosed with carcinoma nasopharynx in the year (2013). After which I recieved chemo and radiation. Now iam OK . But due to Radiation therapy I had developed dental caries. Now after tooth infection and removing one embedded tooth root I had a biopsy done of tissue from lower jaw gum ,recommended by dental surgeon. The biopsy report suggests "overall favours leukoplakia without dysplasia" .After examination by my cancer treating doctor at Apollo Gleneagles, kolkata there are no visible white patches and he advised no treatment required. But the dental surgeon recommends Blue light treatment, to treat me, treatment protocal is monthly two sitting for 6 months to remove white patch which is not physically visible by Doc at Apollo and also local dentist, need your valuable remarks on the subject.do I need to go for any further treatment.
