Post Primary Infection by Tuberculosis lead to formation of cavities in Lungs.
Cavity indicates the active disease and high transmission of the Mycobacterium.
These are treated with 6 months of Anti Tuberculosis Drugs(ATT).
If cavities are thick walled and heal by fibrosis then these lesions shall persist
