Yes, provided fracture is healing. X rays required to give best suggestion. Always follow ur doctor's advice. Post xray if possible.

Post 2 months ideally it should be acceptable, but it totally depends upon what is the status of callus formation around the screws of the rod and also the fracture site. you should consider it before bearing on weight (so that the screws don't loosen up and make unsuccessful operation).
