This type of pain may be associated with severe muscle spasm in para spinal muscles which might have caused the tilting of body to one side.. The radiating pain from hip to ankle may be associated with some nerve root compression/inflammation on one side.. possibly due to acute muscle spasm or disc prolapse.
Next Steps
You can start with hot fomentation,  take analgesic with muscle relaxant tablet, get one x ray done to rule out any bony pathology.  but you may also require MRI Lumbosacral spine if pain doesnt relieve by medicines..
Health Tips
Avoid heavy work, avoid sitting down,  avoid Indian toilet..
