I want to know how much time to cure after surgery of Calcaneum fracture with plates and screw. My surgery was done on 17 july.

It usually takes 6 to 8 weeks for complete union of bone.. In case of calcaneum fracture, it may take around 8 to 12 weeks.. If the surgical scar site remains healthy and bone alignment is good, then it would heal by 2 to 3 months.. It can be judged by getting a repeat x ray..

Continue rest for now along with strict limb elevation, analgesic, calcium and vit d supplements
