Sir,my 4 years daughter is suffering from constipation,doctor has suggested laxopeg kids 1 sachet daily.Does it has any sideeffects.

Constipation is surely a disturbing symptom but we must try to understand the cause . Do investigate for hypothyroidism . Do make it a habit to give her food & fruits which are rich in fiber . Give more fluids . Make a time table for bowel habits . Try all the natural things.it will solve by itself because all laxatives purgatives are habit forming and do have side effects . Do stop synthetic so called fast foods .

It does not have side effects but unless the food habits are changed medicine alone can not treat constipation. So it's necessary to stop food with maida, reduce milk intake,eat all fruits and vegetables which contains fibre

With laxopeg, change her dietary habits too .
