L4 L5 S1 postero central annular tear
Hi. I've been diagnosed with lumbar disc bulge at two levels. The MRI report shows posterior annular tear with POSTERO CENTRAL disc bulge indenting anterior thecal sac with no significant nerve compression at L4-L5-S1. I've had unbearable pain in my lower back to the extent of being unable to stand or even sit, after lifting a full water bucket. I was in the hospital for 5 days & was treated with thiocolchicoside, diclofenac, nortriptyline & gabantin & discharged stating that it'll get better in 3 weeks. 6 weeks down, the pain is still there, I still can't sit or even move in bed, though I'm able to stand & walk for about 10 minutes, but walking gives electric shock kind of spasm in the lower and upper back. I don't have sciatica kind of pain, but the pain from the back extends into a dull ache in the front part of both thighs while walking for more than 5 minutes. There is no numbness or tingling in my legs or feet. Im worried if being unable to sit is permanent. Please advise. Thanks
