L4-L5 disc bulge with mild Central canal
Hello Doctor, I am having back pain which is spread till the knee of my left leg. I have done an MRI and the report says disc dessication and mild Central canal stenosis. At L4-L5 level there is a disc bulge which is pressing the nerves and therefore I am having back pain. If I stand or walk continuously for around 10 mins. I get a severe pain. Can you please suggest how can this be treated. Thank you.

Since there is disc prolapse and you also have difficulty in walking due to the same issue, the best way to treat it will be by surgical by undergoing decompression and discectomy by open or endoscopic spine surgery..
Next Steps
You can attempt by starting hot fomentation,  take analgesic and muscle relaxant tablet,  apply analgesic ointment locally,  apply Lumbosacral belt for support.. Take complete bed rest, avoid heavy work,  avoid sitting down , avoid Indian toilet...
