Keep this choice of implant on ur orthopaedic only as each one is comfortable with particular set only. Before operation do take atleast 2 weeks preoperative physiotherapy sessions for better tolerance to the operation and speedy recovery afterwards. Visit a qualified and registered physiotherapist nearby. Know us more at www drrajivmehta com

Hi, this is Dr Hitin Mathur, Orthopaedics surgeon from Fortis C Doc Hospital, New Delhi. Welcome to practo. As far as knee implants are concerned, both offer similar results technically speaking. Results of Knee replacement depend on surgeon comfort with the instrumentation along with patient factors like initial weight of patient and commitment to do physiotherapy and knee strengthening exercises as advised.
