Knee problems
My mother is feeling some pain in their kneees if she eats cold things like rice or curd. Please tell me how to prevent my mother kness from any problem.

Ask her to sit at a height such that she has no difficulty in getting up. Make her active.

What's her age? Weight? Difficulties - in getting up from bed ? Sitting cross-legged? Stairs climbing. Any history of arthritis,? Any investigation done  like x ray , She needs detailed evaluation

1. Make her do Quadriceps exercises regularly (static and dynamic). 2. Apply Ice packs on the knee, 3-4 times a day for 3-4 weeks. 3. Get her knee evaluated for knee osteoarthritis.
