Knee joint pain
Mother in law having knee joint pain with one foot slight swell up. To get relief she use hot pad . What is the solution for the problem. She can't even stand constantly for long time.

At this age knee osteoarthritis is v common causing degenerative changes cartilage damage and reduced joint space further giving way to knee movement leg deformity.
Physiotherapy as said above helps lot
Xray reveals stage of arthritis
If walking is cribbing may further need joint replacement lastly.
Avoid too much pain killers rather first tree physiotherapy and hot fomentation
