Knee injury
I got a trauma on knee. I want to know if there is any nerve problem in my knee, can a orthopedic doctor evaluate me and diagnose it and if necessary refer me to a neurologist? Or do I have to do it myself? Because 4 Orthopedic doctors told me in physical consultation that there is no nerve damage in my case and they didn't refer me to any other doctor.

Hello , usually after a knee trauma , less than 1 percent chance u have a neurological insult. You have to show to an ortho doctor only. In case on examination he feels that u need a neuro consult then only u need to show a Neurophysician. Get an x ray done and consult an orthopaedic surgeon.
