Knee injury
I am a professional dancer. I am recovering from an knee MCL tear injury. It has been 2 years now. I took the PRP Injection for it and now doing continues physio therapy from past 1/5 year. But the pain is constant , it's a very slow process and it's very frustrating for me. I just wanted to ask does knee injury or joint pain heals with the acupressure or acupuncture therapy. I want to get back to dancing with the same strength I had before. But it's just not getting any better. Need help.

• Sports Taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area • Contrast Fomentation (Hot and Cold). • Contrast bath---It is a form of treatment in which knee is applied warm water followed by the immediate application of the knee with ice water. This procedure is repeated several times, alternating hot and cold. Note that the treatment should always end in the ice water, as heat will induce the body's inflammatory response, while cold helps to decrease inflammation.

Hi ! we believe in getting you back to your routine. in my opinion please seek consultation from an orthopedic surgeon who specialises in sports medicine. 6 months is long time. Accupressure/accupuncture is a science and has its own logic. difficult to comment on how effective is this for you. I guess you need to find out the right doctor for yourself ! And trust me, you ll just be fine. Injuries in your age heal very well. specially grade 1, 2 Isolated MCL sprains.
