Knee arthroscopy.
I'll be going through a knee arthroscopy for my ACL reconstruction soon and my question was that can I ask for a general anesthesia instead of a spinal one?
I'm a faint hearted person and I have developed kind of a phobia for knee injuries after my injury and I don't think I'll be able to watch.
What should I do? Please help.

Spinal is safe than ga. And in spinal also u will not be able to see surgery.u will be given some sedative to sleep so basically u will sleep out through the procedure.

You should discuss it with your Anesthesia doctor who have to make you painfree during operation he will explain you the benefits of both methods of anesthesia and he will give the best anesthesia to you
