Judging my treatment for tmj
I am going through the treatment for tmj disorder (splint therapy completed, now ortho treatment is going on)... But even now I am not sure whether my treatment is working for me or not... How to judge whether my treatment is working or not? Also my facial appearance has changed due to muscle spasm (because of excessive jaw clenching), so how can I regain my facial appearance? Please help...

Hi. It is difficult to assess without looking at your pictures, but trust your orthodontist to give you the correct treatment. About your jaw appearance due to clenching, Botox will help you immensely to get it back to normal. It's easy, safe and a quick painless process. Visit an Oral Surgeon for the same. Good Luck and best wishes for your treatment, Best Regards.
