Joint pain
I am facing joint pain in my hands and foot whenever it gets cold or about to rain outside. I am facing this problem since this monsoon began. Can it be something serious? My mother is an rheumatoid arthritis patient, is it possible that I am showing symptoms of it?

Get a RA factor and Anti-CCP antibodies test done. Some times joint pains last after a viral fever episode..if u had any fever recently, may be a simple post viral arthralgia.

If it is started in this monsoon season then you need not to worry, this is very common in this season... If it really bothering you you must be evaluated.. Anyone can get this disease, though it occurs more often in women. Rheumatoid arthritis often starts in middle age and is most common in older people. Avoid pain killers..

Stiff joints are a common phenomenon in Monsoon/Winter, you are not alone. RA can be familial but will include more symptoms. Many viral illness which are prevalent in this season can also cause similar symptoms.
Next Steps
Please visit a physician for first level check and investigations.
Health Tips
Pain killers will help for symptomatic relief until you see physician, long term pain killers with no diagnosis is not an option!!!
